Well this seismometer had been in use for about a week when on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 23:25:04 (UTC) Koryakia ,Russia suffered a series of earthquakes in that region. That area of the world is about 4658 miles from my location. Over the next few days I recorded several earthquakes at different magnitudes from that area .Here are just a few.

The first was the large7.6 magnitude earthquake from Koryakia ,Russia

This one was 6.5 magnitude from Koryakia ,Russia

This one was 6.1 magnitude from Koryakia ,Russia

This one was 5.6 magnitude from Koryakia ,Russia

This one was 5.1 magnitude from Koryakia ,Russia

This one was 5.0 magnitude from Koryakia ,Russia

And the final one is a 4.9 mag from Guatemala
